sugar skyscrapers

I was watching the food network challenge today and they had sugar skyscrapers. amazing. the winner was 16ft 4.3in tall! it was breathtaking and nerve racking, yet they both looked wonderful. it's so interesting to see them build these, knowing what i know. the empire state building was an open building with open windows and it was like a building made out of cardboard. but in an architectural way. it was SO cool. and it didn't involve any color, so it was pastilliage, i think he did some casting and then plain sugar! oh it was phenominal. that is the one that one. the other building was pretty sweet too! i was definitely voting for the empire. AH, amazing. some day, maybe... some day...
